Non-Diet Nutrition Book Club
Nourish your mind with a social and supportive group to explore the non-diet approach
This may not be your traditional book club! This is a non-diet learning experience. Together we will read one high-interest non-diet-focused book per month, guided by Registered Dietitian and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, Cristina Luibil!
Here's what we'll be up to:
📕 Group-paced reading so we can stay on the same page each month. Of course, it’s always optional to read ahead! Worried life will get in the way of group reading? Our reflection prompts will keep you on track even if we're not on the same chapter (more about reflection prompts below!)
📗 Reflection prompts for each book written by the RD. Use the prompts to journal, to help you gather your thoughts before a book discussion, or for self-reflection. Take from them what YOU need!
📘 A private community with the RD and other members to discuss the book plus non-diet topics and learn from one another. This dedicated space will be used to interact, be social, be accountable, and have fun with new friends. The private community is via Facebook and is only available to Down to Earth Nutrition clients.
📙 LIVE 60-minute book discussion, guided by the RD - Grab a meal, snack or cozy beverage and join us each month!
Cost is $35/session + cost of the book.

This is the second book from the author of Anti-Diet and it comes out in April 2023! It will be really nice to read and reflect together when it's first released!

How much does it cost and how does it work?
The Non-Diet Nutrition Book Club is $35 per session + the cost of the book (on your own).
To reserve your spot, simply click the button below to register.
Payment for the first session is due at registration, and the remaining sessions will be charged that month that the group starts. So, a $35 commitment to reserve your spot up front, and the rest not paid for until the month in which your chosen group starts!
The book club is held biweekly on Mondays from 7-8pm EST on Google Meet. DTEN's Google Meet platform is HIPAA compliant and secure.
Why should I join this book club vs. other groups out there?
We are a unique group that keeps an open mind and enjoys an open and lively discussion. The group is a set-aside time where you can prioritize time for YOU; to do something you enjoy and to have fun. Self-care is important, socialization is important, and this Non-Diet Nutrition Book Club can be an outlet for both!

Cool! Is there anything else I should expect?
We expect all group participants to be under the routine care of a physician.
A mental health provider, such as a therapist or counselor, is also a beneficial addition to a health care team. We encourage program participants to have an open mind if they feel they want or need to talk with mental health professional.
NOTE: if you are currently suffering from and/or are in early recovery from an eating disorder, please consult with your treatment team (therapist, RD, MD) before joining, as participants may be reflecting on their own lived experience during the group sessions.
