Food + Body Confidence Club
A down to earth support group to explore food + body situations with confidence
Continue your journey with a comfortable community to nurture food + body confidence, explore Intuitive Eating, and continue to reject diet culture. This group is situational and comprehensive, and still low-key enough for busy lifestyles.
The Food + Body Confidence Club offers support and guidance through a compassionate lens. We will dive into the real-life situations where the diet mentality will likely sneak in, and how to steer your way out of them with self-compassion and self-acceptance at the forefront. The sessions will allow you to utilize the Intuitive Eating framework as your personal accountable space, so you do not have to partake in diet related conversation(s) you do not want to have. Session topics are open to group request, and will center around how to feel and be in your body regarding food, movement, and body image.
Examples of topics to be discussed include (and are not limited to):
🪴 Family and friends
🪴 Holidays and celebrations
🪴 Work place "nutrition" chatter
🪴 Social media
🪴 Vacations and big life events
🪴 Eating out with groups or dates
🪴 Fitness groups and spaces
🪴 School and college
The Food + Body Confidence Club is held virtually the second Friday of each month from 12-1pm EST.
The cost is $475 for a yearly membership, which includes all materials.

This group is a great supplement between individual nutrition counseling sessions, and can not be used instead of individualized counseling sessions.
I'm very intrigued! How does it work?
Club members will meet monthly for 60 minutes to connect with other intuitive eaters and the RD and discuss how to gain food + body confidence while using a non-diet approach/intuitive eating framework in our every day lives, especially if/when diet culture pops up.
Between sessions, you'll have the option to participate in a private community for Down to Earth Nutrition clients only, called "Staying Nourished" (hosted on Facebook). Within Staying Nourished, you'll receive access to affirmations, journal prompts, reflection questions and more, all while being in a safe non-diet space. You'll be able to share wins and talk through challenges with other intuitive eaters.
Your Food + Body Confidence Club membership comes with The Intuitive Eating Journal, which we will utilize over the course of the year.

How long are the sessions?
Sessions are 60 minutes long (12-1pm EST) and are held on Google Meet. Feel free to join anytime during the hour and to bring your lunch or a snack to sessions!
DTEN's Google Meet platform is HIPAA compliant and secure.
Cool! Is there anything else I should expect?
We expect all group participants to be under the routine care of a physician.
A mental health provider, such as a therapist or counselor, is also a beneficial addition to a health care team. We encourage program participants to have an open mind if they feel they want or need to talk with mental health professional.
NOTE: if you are currently suffering from and/or are in early recovery from an eating disorder, please consult with your treatment team (therapist, RD, MD) before joining, as participants may be reflecting on their own lived experience during the group sessions.
Disclaimer: This support group cannot be used in lieu of individual nutrition counseling.
Got it! So, if I join, does that mean I can talk to Cristina about personalized nutrition issues?
